* Alabama Task Force One K9 TeamAlabama Task Force One K9 Team

Alabama Task Force One K9 Team Showcase Events Join The Exploreum for a look into the real world of Search and Rescue K9 training in conjunction with the summer IMAX film, Superpower Dogs! There will be demonstrations of some of the skills that a Search K9 must have in order to achieve certification and be deployment-ready. The next event will take place on July 27.

* $10 Weekend Rabies Clinic$10 Weekend Rabies Clinic

Time: 12:30 pm

The Mobile County Health Department provides low cost rabies shots for dogs, cats and ferrets during weekend clinics that are good for one year. A clinic is planned for July 27 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at B&B Pet Stop (5035 Cottage Hill Road). The cost of the rabies vaccine per pet is $10. All rabies shots are payable in cash.

Being at the farm for 5 days, a student can learn what it would take 10 weeks to learn in regular riding lessons. Each student is worked with one on one as well as in a group setting with games, trail rides, taking horses in the lake, and many other great activities. SILVER LINING FARM Mimi C. Peters Riding School The campers eat lunch together and hear stories that inform how to take care of horses and their medical needs.
