PRIVATE PROPERTY DESTROYED BY CITY HALL… INCOMPETENCE OR INTENTION? Around noon on Tuesday, September 13th, I received a call to come to Firetower Road about 1/4 mile south of Moffett Road (Hwy 98). The call was from Ms. Susan Jarvis, the owner of some properties on Firetower Road. Ms. Jarvis said that City Of Semmes employees were cutting down Camellias on property owned by her family. Upon arriving at Firetower Road I could see several Mobile County Sheriff’s vehicles and several personal vehicles.

On June 1, 2015, at approximately 10:30 pm, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was notified about a missing person. MCSO Deputies went to 10328 Burlington Drive Grand Bay, Alabama in reference to a missing Alzheimer’s patient Bille E. Smith Jr. (09/23/55). Brenda Dale, who identified herself as Bille Smith’s caretaker, stated that she last saw Smith walking down the street around 7:30 pm. Dale told MCSO Deputies Mr. Smith has been reported missing three times in the past two years. MCSO K-9 units responded to the scene and searched the wooded areas near the residence.
